The guestrooms at Hotel Navarras were incredibly comfortable and ensured a good night's sleep. Our room had all the amenities we needed, including wireless internet, air conditioning, a balcony/terrace, telephone. It really felt like a home away from home for our whole family.
Personally, I found the private bathroom with bath or shower a bit small and cramped. But that's just my opinion, others might still find it enjoyable.

We had an amazing time at the largest park in the country with year-round tropical temperatures! The wave pool, lazy river, and various pools and jacuzzis were a paradise for our children. They also enjoyed the different lessons available, such as Spinning, Pump, Aerostep, and many more. The sports center and tennis facilities kept them active and entertained throughout our stay. Cycling among Amarante's natural landscapes was a thrilling experience, from gentle routes to more challenging ones. We couldn't have asked for a better family getaway!
My children wanted more variety in the breakfast options.

We got great value for our money at Hotel Navarras. The room was spacious and comfortable for the whole family, with a balcony and two TV sets. The staff were friendly and the location was perfect, within a short drive to the water park and close to the lovely old town.
The only thing that could have made the morning meal better was if there were more variety of options available.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel in Amarante. the location was fantastic - just a two-minute walk from the bus station and right in the center of the bustling town. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the basic amenities in the rooms, including a complete en-suite WC, were more than satisfactory. Additionally, the breakfast provided was delicious and offered a good selection.
All in all, everything was absolutely fine.

I was a little apprehensive when I booked the Navarras as it has a few bad reviews. I really can't understand this because the hotel in clean, well run, in a great location, in a beautiful town and the staff where very helpful. I 'd definately stay at the Navarras, if I visited Amarante again
Not really a negative, but the hotel's location in Amarante's small shopping centre is a little odd.

The hotel is close to all the sights in Amarante, though it is a little difficult to find as it is located on top of a whole bunch of shops across the river from the old part of town. The breakfast was great - not just simply bread and jam.
The hotel recommends a nearby car park (as there is no parking on site or on the street). It's really expensive (22 euros for 24 hours) and no where does it tell you the rate.

The Hotel Navarras exudes a charming atmosphere with its beautiful and timeless decoration. From the moment I entered the hotel, I felt like I was transported to a cozy and welcoming space. The general areas of the hotel are spacious and comfortable, perfect for senior people like me to relax and enjoy. The hotel's accessibility is also noteworthy, with well-maintained elevators and ramps, making it easy for me to navigate around the premises without any trouble.
The only thing I would have asked for a better vacation for senior people is a little more assistance from the children working there. While the staff was friendly, a bit more attention and support in terms of providing information about the local attractions and nearby restaurants would have enhanced our stay even more.

This hotel is perfectly located for exploring the town. It is within walking distance to the restaurants, bars/cafes, the old town and the bus station. , it is just a short ride to the water park. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was decent, and the availability of cheap drinks from the hotel shop is a plus.
The parking can be quite a challenge as the hotel does not have its own parking lot.

The location was perfect for us, as it was only a short 13-minute drive from the largest park in the country with tropical temperatures all year round. The park had so many exciting attractions for children, including a wave pool, lazy river, and various pools and jacuzzis. It truly was a paradise for our kids. Additionally, the hotel had a sports center where we could enjoy activities like tennis and football, ensuring that the whole family was entertained.
My wife says that having more variety in the breakfast options would have been nice for families with children.

Great location near main attractions and convenient parking. The staff was friendly and helpful. The accommodations were clean and comfortable with modern bathrooms and good mattresses.
Limited options for breakfast and slightly outdated decor in the room. a decent place to stay in Amarante, especially if you are looking for a central location with a good price.
